The Bishop Olivier's Cup 2023 at Saint Paul Institute (SPI) and Saint Francois Technical and Private high school with a total of around 1350 people joined as athletes and participants.

The Bishop Olivier's Cup 2023 was held on May 1st, 2023 at Saint Paul Institute (SPI) and Saint Francois Technical and Private high school in Tram Kak District, Takeo Province with a total of around 1350 people joined as athletes and participants.

According to Mr. Phon Sophal, Director of Saint Paul Institute, This Bishop's Cup 2023 has 53 teams from 28 different places, competing in 4 kinds of sports such as Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, and Penque. Also, all competitions are refereed by professional referees to select the first, second, and third-place winners to receive awards from Bishop Olivier.
In addition, Mr. Lay Sem, Director of the Department of Sports in Takeo Province, had a speech on behalf of the department of sports throughout Takeo province. We are very pleased and proud to be part of Bishop Olivier's Cup 2023. He added that physical education and sports activities are essential roles in building human resources to be physically fit, intelligent, have good morals, respectful discipline, peace, and good relations between each team.
H.E Bishop Olivier, Apostolic Vicar of Phnom Penh, founder and Chancellor of Saint Paul Institute expressed his happiness and pride that this Bishop Olivier's Cup 2023 event was organized while Cambodia is hosting the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th Para Games under the slogan "Sports Live In Peace". He said that this sports competition is organized with the aim of contributing to the government in the field of sports in Cambodia and providing the best gathering opportunity for young people as well as students and staff by increasing intimacy, friendship, and solidarity also bringing good health. In order to run this sports competition smoothly, Bishop also advised all athletes to follow the schedules and conditions properly, have good morals and understand each other, not cause any violence as well as maintain cleanliness.
