Mr. Phon Sophal, director of Saint Paul Institute attends the world general assembly of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) at Boston College, United State of America.

Mr. Phon Sophal, director of Saint Paul Institute attends the world general assembly of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) at Boston College, United State of America from 30th July to 3rd August 2022. Around 200 participants, rectors, presidents, and directors from all over the world meet and reflect together on the theme "Legacy and Transformation in a World of Change: Catholic Higher Education and the Future".

Director Phon Sophal shared with IFCU participants on Tuesday 2 August 2022. 3 main points have been raised:
1-Saint Paul Institute founded in 2009 by Bishop Olivier Schmitthaeusler and SPI is invested in good knowledge and provided skills to young people in Cambodia. Specifically, to build capacities for the young people from communities and able to build up their knowledge and contribute back to society with good morality.
2-A crucial strategic concerns for Saint Paul Institute (SPI) are how to respond effectively to the quality of education at the national level, regional and global, as well as sustainability in the future. In other words, SPI has specific objectives of Catholic Institute to stimulate the standards of teaching, research, graduate and professional programs, and work of its faculty and staff.
3-We, SPI is open to collaboration and support in the sense of subsidiarity from all Catholic universities around the world.
