On August 10, 2026, the department of Tourism Management of Saint Paul Institute had the immense privilege of visiting Shangri-La Phnom Penh for an immersive study tour focused on modern hotel operations. The opportunity to step beyond the classroom and witness high-level hospitality operations in action was an unforgettable experience. Through comprehensive guided walkthroughs, interactive presentations, and practical demonstrations, our students gained firsthand exposure to the real-world dynamics of luxury hotel management. Learning directly from seasoned industry professionals about front-of-house excellence, back-of-house logistics, guest relations, and service standards gave our students a fresh, grounded perspective on what it takes to thrive in today’s competitive global market.
