Under the inspiring theme “Together Building Hope and Harmony,” representatives from Saint Paul Institute (SPI) actively participated in national-level initiatives to commemorate National Social Work Day and World Social Work Day 2026, highlighting the institute’s ongoing dedication to social justice, community development, and public welfare.

On March 19, 2026, SPI representatives joined nearly 300 key stakeholders including senior government officials, representatives from educational institutions, national and international non-governmental organizations, and passionate social work students at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation headquarters. Celebrated annually during the third week of March, this vital observance honors the dedication of social workers who strive to advance social justice, defend human rights, and strengthen community resilience. The event also emphasized the importance of elevating professional qualifications and strict ethical standards for practitioners serving vulnerable target groups, including women, children, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and at-risk populations.

Continuing this commitment to structural reform and policy enhancement, representatives from Saint Paul Institute also took part in a high-level consultative workshop on March 26, 2026. The consultation focused on developing a strategic concept note aimed at integrating comprehensive social protection measures into the national framework. Through these active engagements, Saint Paul Institute continues to position itself as a key academic and professional contributor toward building an inclusive, equitable, and harmonious society for all.
