Saint Paul Institute in collaboration with Catholic Education office of Phnom Penh Vicariate, Don Bosco, Jesuit Service Cambodia, and Mega Research Center, led a workshop for all Catholic Institutions leaders in Cambodia on “Develop Society through Quality of Catholic Education”.

Saint Paul Institute (SPI), in collaboration with Catholic Education office of Phnom Penh Vicariate, Don Bosco, Jesuit Service Cambodia, and Mega Research Center, led a workshop for all Catholic Institutions leaders in Cambodia on “Develop Society through Quality of Catholic Education” from February 2-4, 2023. The workshop was held at Phnom Penh Thmei Pastoral Center, Phnom Penh Vicariate, and Ban Ban Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Around 27 catholic schools ranging from primary school to higher education levels attended namely Saint Paul Institute, Xavier School, both Don Bosco boys and girls, Saint Francois Primary, Saint Francois General and Technical High School, Chamroeun Vichea High School, FLC Kampot, and Sr. Ursaline School Battambang, and around 85 participants, including directors, school principals, and vice principals, joined.

On the third day of the workshop, the inter-religious dialogue was a significant theme that was delivered by key speakers who are Christians and Buddhists. They shared the importance of interpersonal relationships between religions and jointly collaborating to build a harmonious and peaceful society.

It was a fruitful workshop that contributed a lot of beneficial perspectives regarding key improvements to quality education and the significant role of inter-religious dialogue.
