On the morning of Thursday, April 23, 2026, Saint Paul Institute (SPI), in collaboration with the Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC), conducted a dissemination workshop titled “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Digital Literacy for Cambodian Youth” for 120 students from Saint Paul Institute and Saint Francois Private Technical High School.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Phon Sophal, Director of Saint Paul Institute, clearly highlighted to all participating students that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) serve as a global roadmap to help eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. He emphasized that as a higher education institution, Saint Paul Institute plays a crucial role in cultivating human resources who are not only knowledgeable, but are also educated with a strong sense of social responsibility, national protection, and dedication to national and environmental development.

Furthermore, Dr. Phon Sophal stressed that digital literacy is no longer just an option, but an essential “necessity and tool” for today’s youth in their daily lives, studies, research, and future careers. He noted that digital literacy goes beyond simply knowing how to use technology; it requires using technology smartly, safely, ethically, and effectively.

The students actively participated throughout the event, gaining insightful new knowledge in a joyful and meaningful atmosphere.
